My kid is obsessed with this sword. Like obsessed. Got it for Christmas and he takes it EVERYWHERE. He just turned 5 a couple weeks ago so I'm surprised it's survived this long. Thank goodness the pack came with 2 since one broke. It's plastic, folks. It's gonna break eventually. But seriously, I might need to order 3 more packs of 2 so we always have one on reserve. I could probably throw away the rest of his toys and he would be content to just play with this. One downside for noise sensitive parents/siblings, there is no volume control and it's not a quiet toy. There's no way to have the lights work without the sound (unless you're going to hack it and "accidently" break the speaker inside). We've learned to just tune it out, but if you're sensitive to noise, I'd avoid this particular toy or limit it to outside or another room.
